	Informationen zum Lied
	Der Text von "Morning Has Broken" wurde 1931 von der britischen Kinderbuchautorin und Lyrikerin Eleanor Farjeon geschrieben. Hierbei handelte es sich um einen Auftrag von Percy Dearmer für die Liedersammlung Songs of Praise. Als Melodie sollte die Melodie "Bunessan" zugrunde liegen, die mit dem Text des gälischen Weihnachtsliedes "Leanabh an Aigh" (Kind der Freude) bekannt war. Weltberühmt wurde das Lied, als 1971 der Sänger und Songwriter Cat Stevens in einer eigenen Version veröffentlichte.
