	Informationen zum Lied
	Auf die Musik des Tallis's Canon von Thomas Tallis aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, textete Thomas Ken ca. im Jahr 1674 "All praise to thee my God this night", welches heute als "Tallis's Canon" bekannt ist. Dieser Titel wird für das gleiche Lied von Libera auf dem Album New Dawn benutzt. Von dem Text verwendet Angel Voices die erste, zweite und letzte Strophe, die einzig im Canon gesungen wird. Thomas Tallis war einer der ersten Komponisten für anglikanische Kirchenmusik, der in englischer Sprache schrieb. Tallis war als Organist in Dover und London tätig. Thomas Ken wurde im Jahr 1662 Priester der Anglikanischen Kirche, war Rektor verschiedener Schulen in Winchester und wurde schließlich Bischof von Bath und Wells im Jahr 1685.
