	Informationen zum Lied
	Die Melodie von "Going Home" enstammt der 9. Sinfonie des böhmischen Komponisten Antonin Dvorak, die 1894 das erste Mal in Europa aufgeführt wurde. Diese Sinfonie trägt auch den Namen "Aus der Neuen Welt", da sie von Dvoraks dreijährigem Amerikaaufenthalt inspiriert wurde. Der 2. Satz beginnt mit der in Going Home verwendeten Melodie und endet auch mit dieser. Der amerikanische Komponist und Schreiber William Arms Fisher, der in New York auch Dvorak als Lehrer hatte, schrieb 1922 zu dem Largo des 2. Satzes den Text von "Goin' Home".
