	Informationen zum Lied
	Das Lied basiert auf einem Teil des Textes von "Hear my Prayer" welches ein christliches Kirchenlied ist und 1844 von Felix Mendelssohn komponiert wurde. Die Passage "O for the wings of a Dove", die den Abschluss des Liedes bildet, wurde bekannt durch eine Aufnahme des englischen Knabensopran Ernest Lough aus dem Jahr 1929. (Das Lied hat übrigens nichts mit dem ähnlich lautenden Titel "Wings of a Dove" zu tun.)
