Anmerkung: Während des Solos von Ralph Skan singt der Chor mit unterschiedlicher Intensität die lateinischen Zeilen weiter. Bei der Wiederholung der zweiten Textpassage wird Ralph zusätzlicher von mindestens einer Solostimme unterstützt, was dieses Zeile kraftvoller wirken lässt. Wer dies ist, konnte ich bislang nicht herausfinden. |

Der Text stammt aus Libera-eigner Feder, nämlich von Robert Prizeman und Ben Crawley. Für die Musik wählte man das "Prelude in C-minor" von Frédéric Chopin, komponiert 1838/39, welches man, hört man das Original, auch sofort wiedererkennt. |
