	Informationen zum Lied
	Unter dem Namen "Adeste Fideles" komponierte 1743 John Francis Wade das in England beliebte Weihnachtslied "O Come All Ye Faithful", das in Deutschland unter dem Titel "Nun freut euch, ihr Christen" bekannt ist. Das Lied war ursprünglich mit lateinischem Text versehen und wurde 1852 von Frederick Oakeley und Thomas Brooke ins Englische übersetzt. Die deutsche Übersetzung lieferte Friedrich Heinrich Ranke.
